    Story

Miscarriage Mumma was set up to support those who have experienced pregnancy loss and are struggling with infertility.

Having read lots of stories of the struggles people have faced I realised that there is a huge need for medical and emotional support. With a huge strain on the NHS there is not the funding to support a large number of couples struggling to fulfil their desire to become parents. Many couples suffer multiple miscarriages and receive very little in the way of physical or emotional support leaving them feeling lost and isolated. Like us, there are a lot of couples who aren't offered the extensive help needed, we are not deemed a priority for funding. The losses these couples suffer and the journey people don't have a choice to take is emotionally damaging and extremely draining.

The Miscarriage Mumma has been set up to offer people the opportunity to gain access to private care in the hope of gaining the support they require. Private care for us has made a huge difference mentally as well as restoring faith in the medical professionals and our dream.

    Miscarriage Mumma

My name is Sophie and I have been trying to become a mother for two and a half years. During this time I have had four unexplained miscarriages, with little help and support readily available I decided to speak out in the hope of helping others feel less isolated.
