I am setting up this fundraising page to raise money for a personal issue that has deeply affected me for many years.

In June 2014, I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids. They are non-cancerous tumours which grow in or around the uterus and can cause a number of serious side effects, including heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, infertility, depression and back/leg pain.

My whole world turned upside down after the diagnosis. I feared I would never be able to have children and fell into a deep depression. I have multiple large tumours on my uterus which caused my stomach to expand in a way that make me look like I am pregnant. This has caused me to feel incredibly insecure and, as a result, I constantly wear clothes to cover up that area.

My gynaecologist advised either a hysterectomy (complete removal of the uterus) or a myomectomy (removes the tumours). I flat out declined both options because of my desire to have children one day, and also the fact that there was a high chance of the tumours growing back after removal.

After ruling out both options, I began to research natural ways to eliminate fibroids. I discovered that they can be cured through a holistic lifestyle which involves a vegan largely raw food diet, consuming various supplements and exercise. I purchased an ebook online called 'Fibroid Miracles', which gives detailed steps on how to target the root cause of fibroids and effectively shrink/eliminate them entirely.

At the time of my diagnosis, I was in a bad place financially and did not have a stable job. Since then, a number of business/self-employed endeavours have unfortunately failed, and more recently I have been doing temporary work assignments and applying for permanent roles. My confidence and self esteem is at an all time low because of the effect of the fibroids, and as a result, I am performing badly at job interviews and getting rejected.

I am currently exhausted and feel like my life is on hold while I wait for my finances to stabilise. I have worked hard on business ventures over the years to get out of this situation, but had no success, and now I am stuck in the rut of numerous job applications and interview rejections.

I have neglected dealing with my fibroids since the diagnosis due to financial and career worries, and as a result, am constantly stressed, anxious and depressed.

I would like to raise enough money to enable me to take 6 months out of work to take care of my physical and mental wellbeing and embark on the fibroids cure programme. I just want to experience peace and happiness again, so I can start the next chapter of my life.

I am almost 35 years old and fear that so much time is passing me by while I wait for my finances to improve. I worry that if I carry on in this situation, it will be too late to have children and that deeply saddens me.
