Calais became home to over 5,000 men women and children earlier this year. For those of you who aren't familiar with this story, hundreds of people fled from places like Syria , Palestine, Eritrea, Iraq, Senegal & Afghanistan. Seeking refuge and safety, most of them ended up in Calais, France.

Since arriving in France, over 6 months ago, very little has been done to help re locate the thousands of asylum seekers who reside there. Children and expecting mothers are being exposed to different illnesses due to the living conditions, and the lack of child protection measures means that over 100 unaccompanied children are at the risk of abuse.

Instead of supporting from a distance, as of now, we are making it our mission to raise money and awareness to the current crisis in calais. In the next few months we will be travelling to Calais to deliver essentials such as clean clothes, sleeping bags and food. If you care about the unnecessary suffering of young children and want to make a positive difference please get involved and DONATE whatever you can!!

We can do so much more than talk about how much the world is changing for the worse. If we all actively chose to make a difference, to change the world one step at a time, we can build a world where children won't be forced to grow up in distorted conditions.
