Story

Watching the Ukrainian crisis unfold is heart wrenching and we felt helpless. That is until now.

What started as an independent effort to raise funds and purchase an ambulance equipped with medical equipment and deliver it to Ukraine has evolved into a team effort made up of friends, family and fellow Land Rover enthusiasts.

Not one to rest on our laurels, MBL's successful delivery of two ambulances into Ukraine in May 2022 emboldens us to keep going. With the potential for exciting fundraising opportunities being presented to us this summer, we anticipate the funding for a third vehicle being easily within reach.

Our successful fund raising to date is testament to our collaborative approach with local business, charitable organisations and networking. It is amazing the doors that have opened and the connections made, both old and new.

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Our approach is to work collegiately with organisations sharing the same aim, not to compete against them. One goal; to assist those who need it most.

To provide assurance to our donors, we are in the process of applying for registration with the UK Charity Commission. We aspire to see our efforts, and your generous donations, go from strength to strength in delivering life saving capability to the Ukrainian crisis.

Your continued support will go towards the purchase and maintenance of a third MBL ambulance, EuroTunnel/Ferry (c.£300) and Fuel (c.£500 per vehicle).

Staying true to my original appeal, I pledge to kayak around the Isle of Wight to further our fund raising and support gained so far - pending fair winds and following seas (Rich).
