Story
In July 2018 I am travelling to Botswana in Southern Africa with a group of students / staff from Anglia Ruskin University. This life changing experience will involve volunteering at the SOS Children’s Village near Gaborone, Botswana’s capital. Whilst we are there we aim to carry out renovation on the buildings and facilities used by the children and develop a new library in the orphanage. We will also carry out first aid training and hygiene awareness for staff in the village. In order to carry out this work I need to help fund raise in order to contribute to the costs of the building materials and any other resources we need whilst we are out there! By buying all local materials we can ensure we help the local businesses. All money donated will go into the pot for Mission Botswana and your generosity will make a huge difference no matter how big or small. Money goes a very long way there as you can imagine. Thank you for your help and support. I will also be creating a blog whilst I am there to keep track of all of our progress and achievements along the way.
