I am volunteering in aid of the charity Mission Rabies. I will be joining a team in Sri Lanka in September to assist catching stray dogs and administering Rabies vaccinations. I am volunteering for this expedition to help make a change. 100 children die across the world from Rabies every day, the majority under 15 years of age. Over 99% of human rabies cases are caused by an infected dog bite. Once symptoms of the disease develop, it is almost always fatal. Mission Rabies has expanded to work in 6 different rabies-stricken countries. Providing education, technology, research, vaccinations and neutering programmes to aid combating this disease. Please help me to help make the changes to save animal and human lives from this deadly disease.
