Story

Miss Mascall’s Summer Sponsored Cycle Challenge

Hi everyone,

This summer I am taking on a sponsored cycling challenge to help raise money for new computers for the children at St. Aldhelm’s Church School and Little Lambs Nursery.

The challenge is simple:

Every £5 donated = 1 kilometre cycled

That means the more money raised, the further I will ride throughout the summer holidays. Every donation directly increases the total cycling distance and helps support the children’s learning and future opportunities.

The aim of this fundraiser is to provide updated school computers and digital resources that will benefit pupils across the school and nursery. Technology plays such an important role in education, and having access to modern equipment helps children:

Build important digital and problem-solving skills

Learn how to stay safe and smart online

Prepare for future careers in a technology-driven world

Access better learning opportunities across all subjects

I wanted to do something active, fun and meaningful over the summer while giving back to the children and helping improve the resources available to them. By combining cycling with fundraising, every mile ridden becomes part of something bigger.

Donations made before the end of the school year will count towards the official cycling mileage total, but support after that date is still hugely appreciated and will continue to help the fundraiser.

Any amount, big or small, will make a real difference and help support the children’s education and future success.

Thank you so much for your support and encouragement — it truly means a lot. 🚴‍♀️💖

Miss Mascall :)
