Weʼve raised £1,200 to Enable surgery on Miss Piggy the rescued Shar Pei's eyes
- Wokingham, United Kingdom
- Funded on Sunday, 4th February 2018
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Miss Piggy was abandoned at Binfield Dog Rescue. She is five years old and looks like she may have been used for breeding. Like a lot of Shar Pei's, she has entropion (interned eyelids) that she was born with and never treated for. She gets scared when out walking because her eyesight is so limited. Her eyesight and life in general would improve if she has the surgery to correct this deformity. The rescue has a limited income and cannot afford this type of surgery so we are hoping you can contribute to help this friendly girl have a better life.

Thank you everyone that has donated to help Miss Piggy especially Nick Yates whose magnificent fundraising has enabled us to go ahead with Miss Piggy's surgery. Her eyelids have now been corrected and we can now see her eyes. In time we hope she will be able to see us better. I hope to post a photo of Miss Piggy's new look.
