Weʼve raised £72 to fund filming the building of an Asian inspired nightstand for educational videos on YouTube

Funded on Sunday, 5th May 2019

    Story

    The Asian Inspired Nightstand Series

I make furniture, teach woodworking , and post woodworking videos on YouTube .

I'd like to offer anyone a chance to help fund an ongoing video series (the Asian Inspired Nightstand). Once completed, so long as the funding target has been reached, supporters will have a chance to enter a short knowledge based competition to win the finished table (check eligibility if outside of the UK).

My design only exists in digital format at present, but with your help I can make it real.

Filming a build like this greatly increases the time it takes to complete. Add to that the post production needed before publication, and it becomes quite a commitment. By raising funding for it, I can set aside enough time to make a great series AND give the finished table away!

ALL supporters will be credited in subsequent videos as a thank you (of course you can opt out of this by contacting me before publication). In addition, if you're a woodworker yourself, I'll be pleased to send you plans for the table, so you can build one too.

THANK YOU for taking the time to read my story /Mitch

Almost done! All that is left to do is add drawer stops and a drawer pull (yet to decide on a design for that). If you haven't supported yet, don't miss out on a chance to get your hands on the free plans and video credits available to all who support on the JustGiving page. For those that have, thank you so much!

I taught myself fine woodworking after my career was cut short due to severe illness. Now I enjoy interacting with woodworkers worldwide as a result of publishing videos on YouTube
