I am organising a meal with the help of the Jewish, Islamic and Kurdish societies of Durham University for Mitzvah Day. This meal will be open to all refugees who have been settled in the North East.

Mitzvah Day is a Jewish led day of social action that brings thousands of people together of all faiths and none, and all ages, to give their time to make a difference to the local community.

However, some people don't have the time but would like to help out those who have! Any donations to cover food and travel would be greatly appreciated! if everyone we knew donated a £1, we would be well on our way to making this fantastic event happen! Thanks in advance to all of you :)
