I've raised £5000 to help Milton Keynes BMX Racing Club replace all our stolen equipment & bikes so that we can get back to what we love best, training & racing.

It was with a sad and heavy heart that we decided after much consideration to announce that we had been broken into at the track and everything various BMX bikes, 15 full face BMX helmets, two generators, an air compressor, a wacker plate, electrics and light for our new start gate, everything even down to a new hardcore cart/trolley, a wheelbarrow, brooms and brushes, thousands and thousands of pounds worth has been stolen.
We decided to share our devastating news to see if maybe anyone had heard or seen anything so that we could get some possibly get some of it back.
We have been totally blown away by the response we have received after you have read our sad news and as a result have decided to set up our just giving page.
It is clear that those who have stolen from us have not realised the strength of our club or the BMXing community. To them they have stolen to make a few quid, without a thought or a care who they are stealing from. To us they have stolen from a BMX Club that is inclusive of all ages, gender and all abilities, who have dreams and ambitions, who we give stability to, who BMXing gives confidence and belonging to that has been running since 1984 and will continue to run.
Through reading the responses form our post even though some of the equipment and new Start Gate with the electronics that have been stolen which are hugely important to us but not very valuable to the thieves have been acquired in recent years through hard work, fundraising an sheer determination it has effected many. They have not realised how deep the grass roots of our Milton Keynes BMX community goes.
We are devastated but we will not be beaten. It is clear that riders past and present have a deep connection and we will make sure that Milton Keynes BMX Club gets back on its feet.
We would like to thank you for your kind donations no matter how small or big they are. They all count and together we be riding, training and racing again very soon.
