Dear all,

As many of you are aware Morden Little League is currently suspended until further notice as precaution due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19. Suspending the League is never an easy decision to make, and the Committee always have player safety and well-being at the core of what we do and represent.

In providing free football for the community over the last 50 years, we have solely relied on one off donations, team sponsorship, fundraising events and the biggest contributor, the cafe. With multiple fixture weeks cancelled, the League has missed out on it's weekly income source through sales in the cafe.

We, Morden Little League, kindly request for a donation that essentially matches what people pay on a weekly basis in the cafe. This is to ensure we cover all expenses for this current season, and more importantly carry on providing free football moving in to next season.

Please share this page with friends and family both who are part of Morden Little League and those who are not. This is a crucial time for our community to come together, support those who need it most and ultimately look out for each other. Morden Little League is currently made up of over 700 players, and only functions with the dedication and time of all parents, carers and volunteers manage to put aside.
