Story

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a relentless condition that gradually weakens muscles, impacting vital functions like walking, speaking, and breathing. For those diagnosed, each day becomes a battle against this unforgiving illness.

Support our cause as we embark on the Three Peaks Challenge, a daunting yet exhilarating adventure to conquer the highest peaks in the UK: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon, all within a challenging 24-hour time frame. But our mission goes beyond the mountains; it's about making a tangible difference in the lives of those facing immense challenges.

Meet Hannah Deakin, a courageous individual whose life changed when she was diagnosed with motor neuron disease in 2022. Since then, her journey has been one of resilience and strength, with unwavering support from her husband, Oliver Deakin, and their precious 3-year-old daughter, Dalilah. As Hannah's health has declined, the need for a wheelchair has become imperative. Together, we aim to provide her with the means to travel safely and comfortably—a wheelchair-accessible van that will enhance her mobility and independence.

With 50% of the funds raised dedicated to securing this vital transport for Hannah, the remaining 50% will be directed to the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). This incredible charity has been a lifeline for Hannah and countless others, offering not only invaluable support but also funding critical research into finding a cure. The hope is palpable; breakthroughs in genetic forms of Motor Neurone Disease are on the horizon, while advancements for non-genetic types are within reach.

By supporting our cause, you're not just contributing to a noble charity; you're making a direct impact on a real family, witnessing firsthand the difference your generosity can make. Join us by donating whatever you can as we climb for a cause and climb for all those affected by motor neuron disease.
