Anna’s Story

As Anna has just arrived at her 2 year diagnosis anniversary we are looking for support to help Anna on her journey.. to help Anna, Martyn and the girls live, love and laugh and to be as independent as she can.

MND doesn't just take away your personal independence, it takes its toll financially, the ability to go on holidays, to struggle with cost of living,to go out of the home and do everything we take for granted.

The past 2 years, have seen Anna and Martyn leave the Jobs they love, Adapt their home to enable Anna to live independently costing just short of £100,000 and Anna and Martyn are truly grateful for the support they have received from family and friends and the MND association that has eased some of this financial burden.

Over the Past 2 years the MND Association have been a lifeline, providing support, advice and financial grants, and we would love to give back to help them support other families.

Now they are on a new chapter in Anna's diagnosis, they need to fend off the cost of living increase, with no benefit support from the Government, they need to raise funds to provide Anna with an Accessible vehicle and the increase in personal care.

Anna is an Amazing mum to Tilly, Eve and Fallon and wife to Martyn for 18 years.

Anna is the strongest person we know, always smiling, never too serious and just an absolute inspiration to us all, she never ask's for anything whilst doing what she can to help others through raising awareness of MND, Supporting the MND Association with campaigns and acquire corporate partners, Supporting other families who have recently been diagnosed, challenging Government for better support for individuals living with MND and their Families to enable them to get what they need when they need it, all whilst finding the time to have glass of Prosecco.

We know times are challenging for everyone, if you could help in anyway, if you have been touched by Anna's story in anyway we would be extremely grateful.
