Story

Following Rob Burrow’s heart-breaking diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease in December 2019 the Rugby League family has rallied round to raise vital funds to support both Rob and many others in their fight against MND.

Rob has shown great courage and determination to help raise awareness of the illness following his diagnosis and we’ve decided we’d like to play our part.

On Friday May 28th we (Gary Brown, Chris Rawlins, Chris Young & Neil Darley) will run the 16 miles from Selby to the Mend-a-Hose Jungle the home of Castleford Tigers, who on that evening will play Rob’s former club the Leeds Rhinos in the Super League. All donations would be greatly appreciated and will be split 50:50 with Robs personal fund and donated to the MND Association who focus on improving access to care, funding research and campaign for those people living with, or affected by MND.
