We're Mollie and Darragh, two volunteer carers raising money for Group 93 of the Rise and Shine Trust. We are to take part in the Donegal Half-Marathon on August 30th, in the hopes to raise funds for our 2027 trip to Lourdes.

The Rise and Shine Trust provides supported pilgrimage holidays for children and young people with additional needs.

Our group provides a week long trip to Lourdes every Easter, which is fun-filled and life-changing for our guests. The money fundraised by carers will go directly towards the fares of our guests, who travel for free.

As new runners, inspired by the friendship and joy experienced by our guests in the previous three years, we are taking on our first Half-Marathon. Please consider donating whatever you're able to so that we can continue to provide the organisation to more amazing young people!
