I've raised £600 to support the ADAM foundation & all of their fantastic work in the local community in memory of Adam Ellison who lost his life to knife crime.

On 4th Nov 2017, my amazing friend, Adam Ellison, lost his life after being stabbed whilst in Prescot. The loss of Adam has absolutley devestated his family, his friends and the whole community. Adam was a true gent who loved making others smile. In order to keep his memory alive, the Ellison family have set up the ADAM foundation Achieving Dreams And Memories. Whilst the foundation reflects Adams kindness in that it helps those in the local community, it is also a way of thanking the local community for the continued support that they have given to Adams family and friends whilst they continue to fight for JusitceforAdam.
The ADAM foundation facilitates educational awareness sessions within schools and colleges around Merseyside exploring the consequences and impact of knife crime. In addition to the educational focus, some examples of the amazing work that the ADAM Foundation has funded over the last 12 months include; pensioners tea parties, selection boxes and easter eggs given to the children wards at Whiston Hospital and the purchase of the new christmas tree at Willowbrook hospice after theirs was damaged in a flood.
After personally taking my Nan to the Christmas pensioners tea party, I witnessed first hand, as a granddaughter, how amazing the ADAM foundation is. The day was fully funded and provided great entertainment for local pensioners, it provided social opportunities and created a fantasitc feeling of community spirit. The fact this event happened and similar events can continue to happen brings so much joy to Adams family and friends so it is my misson to help them raise funds to help the family continue to do fantastic things for the local community and most importantly continue to do these fantastic things in Adams name.
So I had planned to do Manchester marathon in April 2020 but covid meant it was postponed then I became pregnant!! So Dad is taking on the challenge in my absence and will be running his first ever marathon at the age of 58.
