Hello, as many of you may know I am currently in my second year of my Midwifery degree at Anglia Ruskin University. For as long as I can remember I have loved the idea of becoming a midwife and being there to support women and their families during one of the biggest moments of their lives, and I am extremely grateful that I have been given the opportunity to follow my dreams. This year I get the chance to do this amazing job anywhere in the world for 2 weeks starting the 11th of August, and after a lot of research I have decided to travel to Kandy in Sri Lanka with a company called Work the World. This is a self funded trip which includes both flights and 2 weeks accommodation therefore I am hoping to raise £2000, I am looking at also holding events such as quiz nights in order to support this, if you would be interested in any of these then please keep an eye on my Facebook page.
