Story
Our beautiful daughter Molly aged 9 years sadly died following her recent heart transplant operation. Molly had restricted cardiomyopathy and her heart condition required an urgent and single course of action to be taken to give her the prospect of a healthy life going forward into the future.
She and our family - Nigel, Charlotte and her little brother Benjamin - had so much to look forward to, with her whole life ahead of her.
Molly was a true original and she was precious. Her light shone on everyone she met. We feel sorrow that she is lost to the world and sadness for those who knew her and the huge sense of loss they must now experience. We feel regret for those who in the future shall never meet her or experience her generosity of spirit, true kindheartedness, friendship and character. It is devastating to know that she and Benjamin will no longer have each other, she will never be with her special someone, have a family of her own, live her dreams and that we will continue in life without seeing her experience these things; without her being by our side, to again feel her warm embrace and hear her tell us how much she loves us.
Her courage, spirit and determination sets the ultimate example and we shall honour her memory and her too short life by facing the challenge of continuing the journey without her. We feel the huge burden of pain and suffering which accompanies her passing but we shall bear this with her steely determination, her positivity and her sheer life force in the belief that eventually things will get better and what feels too painful to bear now, will eventually become the fondest and happiest of memories. In the meantime we will strive to do as she did and carry that burden with dignity and without bitterness.
Molly, you know we love you from the bottom of our hearts to the centre of your soul. You are eternally part of us and will be forever in our kind thoughts. Rest in peace. Our beautiful child.
