The Penyffordd & Penymynydd War Memorial Institite held a big place in Curly’s heart. Nearly 6 years ago he took over the role of the care taker and loved every second of it. He was guaranteed to go there every day to do something or to check everything was ok. He was always happy to see events being held here including the village annual carnival, the Rememberance Sunday service and many other events.

The institute has recently started renovation work and Curly would have loved to have seen the finsihed project. We believe as a family he would have liked and felt very proud that any donations in his memory go towards the future of the building.

We hope that any amount raised; little or large, will help in some way, shape or form.
