I'm doing something completely out of my comfort zone – a skydive on the 14th September 2025 – to raise much-needed funds for two brilliant local organisations: 1st Swaffham Prior Scouts and Burwell Day Centre.

I’m genuinely terrified of heights, so this isn’t just a thrill-seeking adventure – it’s a personal challenge for two causes I care deeply about, whilst showing my cub scouts how to tackle scary things and push themselves!

As the Cub Leader for 1st Swaffham Prior and a lecturer, I see every day how important it is for people to have access to community, connection and opportunities to learn and grow. Both the Scout Group and the Day Centre play a vital role in our local area – young, older and everyone in between.

Rising costs and repairs are putting pressure on both groups, and I want to help make sure they continue to thrive. All donations will be split equally between them.
