In September 2018 I will be volunteering in Uganda, Africa with Dentaid. I will be working with a team of 8 other dental professionals providing emergency dental care to under privileged communities.

I will be working in refugee camps, remote villages, schools, prisons and orphanages . We plan to treat up to 150 people a day, mainly getting people out of pain. Most of the patients we treat will have never seen a dentist before.

We will also be working closely with children, providing oral hygiene instruction and fluoride application. Many children haven't even seen a toothbrush, let alone used one.

As many of my friends and family know, I was due to attend this trip in September 2017. However circumstances changed and I was lucky enough to defer my place to next years trip.

This trip is all self funded, so ANY donation is greatly received.
