Here at Moments Cafe we are in need of more tables, chairs and furniture to enable us to create more revenue for Memory Matters South West. The Cafe was set up by the Directors of Memory Matters to help support the amazing work that they do to support local people in our community living with Dementia. Having more tables and chairs will enable the Cafe to move forward into the New Year with a great start, and help more people enjoy the welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Consequently, this will also help make more profits for Memory Matters to continue and develop the incredible work that they do. In just 6 months from opening (March-August) Moments Cafe have;

👉 enabled 25,000 positive recreational experiences

👉 enabled customers to pay it forward with 445 vouchers (We have since changed the vouchers so more people can benefit enabling those using food banks to eat out and have a meal at Moments as a family.

👉supported 600 people in activities likely to increase well-being

👉Supported 60 people who came to the cafe in crisis

👉Created 9 permanent jobs, 3.5 casual jobs and supported 2 people in to employment.
