Story

Moments Cafe is a not for profit organisation whose profits support tho

se living with dementia. We do this by providing free support upstairs in the Hub for people and families who are affected by the condition.

Thanks to so many kind people and organisations, when the cafe was first opened we have the equipment needed to run the kitchen, but could be doing so much more and things would run even more efficiently with the right and updated equipment.

We have supported over 800 people in the last year with the support in our hub, from signposting to services to listening to those that are struggling to cope. This valuable service links in with all local organsations so that those living with dementia and their families can access the support they need at the right time.

With your help we can do so much more - so why is kitchen equipment important?

Well, if we provide great food, efficiently and have a more varied menu, we attract more customers. More cutomers means more income and more income means we can run the free service in the hub for longer and with more impact, helping more people.

Here is a short documentary about the work that we do
