WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING DONATIONS FOR THIS PROJECT

Every year The Orphans Project provides Iftar (meals) to share the blessings of the holy month with the most vulnerable people on the streets of Morocco.

This year we have partnered up with 10 wonderful volunteers (self-funded) from Queen Mary University to physically go out to Morocco to provide a total of 800 meals across the city of Tangier during the last 10 days of Ramadan.

The Prophet (SAW) encouraged us to feed fasting Muslims during Ramadan. Every time you break someone's fast Allah (SWT) multiples the reward of your own fast, SubhanAllah.

To feed one person costs approximately £2.50 and providing a total of 800 meals will cost approximately £2,000. (Meals include, a sandwich, a bottle of water, dates, Moroccan cookies, juice, a piece of fruit and a yogurt).

During our trip, we will also be visiting Sidi Allal Tazi, which is a village in the region of Kénitra, located between Tangier and Rabat where we have been actively supporting a number of less fortunate families. On this day, we will be distributing 30 Eid food parcel and 50 goodie bags to distribute to the children in the village.

Eid food parcels costs approximately £45 and the children goodie bags costs £3 per child. This will cost us approximately £1,500.

Share the blessings and double the reward of your fast! For just £2.50 you can provide Iftar to a fasting person. We count on your donations to make this happen and we would like to thank you in advance for all your support always!
