MNRC stands for Monday Night Racing Club; Every Monday evening we (a group of British and Dutch racing friends) meet and race online in the sim-racing game Gran Turismo.

For the past 4 years in the run-up to Christmas we raise funds for a British or Dutch charity connected to helping disabled children with access gaming.

We then put "Christmas jumpers" on our cars and take part in the "12 Races of Christmas". Previous years events can be viewed here

This year - just like in 2021 - BIO Holiday Resort biovakantie oord is our goal!

Bio holiday resort is committed to the enjoyment of children with disabilities in a broad sense and specifically to making games more accessible for them. And we would like to contribute to that.

Bio now has a well-equipped game room with adapted desks and controllers and we would like to raise an amount through this fundraiser to help set up a gaming taxi service for young people.

MNRC staat voor Monday Night Racing Club; elke maandag avond treffen we (een groep Britse en Nederlandse race-vrienden) elkaar online in het spel Gran Turismo.

Jaarlijks kiezen we in aanloop naar de Kerst een Brits of Nederlands goed doel uit.

Dit jaar hebben we -net als in 2021- voor BIO Vakantie oord gekozen.

Bio vakantie oord zet zich in de brede zin in voor het genot van kinderen met een beperking en specifiek ook voor het toegankelijker maken van games voor ze. En daar zouden wij graag een steentje aan bij willen dragen.

Bio heeft inmiddels een goed uitgeruste game room met aangepaste bureaus en controllers en wij willen graag door middel van deze fundraiser een bedrag ophalen om een gaming taxi-service voor de jongeren op te helpen zetten.

Onze groep bestaat uit allerlei raceliefhebbers en -kenners, zoals Formule 1-journalist Jonathan Noble (Motorsport.com), presentator/acteur Bjorn Remmerswaal, autosport- en videogame-expert Joe van Burik (BNR Nieuwsradio), fotograaf Pim Geerts en autosportkenner Louis Dekker
