We need your help to raise money so that Chris (Millzy) can have potential life changing Stem Cell treatment that is not available on the NHS.

In July 2017, at the age of 28, one of the arteries in Chris’ neck tore and stopped the blood flow to his brain stem and his spinal cord. The damage that was caused from this has resulted in Chris not being able to move his arms and legs and he now has a tracheostomy and needs a ventilator to breathe.

Doctors are not sure why this has happened to Chris who is a young, fit and healthy man.

We have looked into potential stem cell treatment that could be suitable for Chris both in the UK and abroad. If Chris is suitable for this, the cost of this treatment is a hefty £50k but we will do whatever we need to do to get there!

This ground breaking treatment could help Chris to breathe without a ventilator and regain movement in his arms and legs.

As you can imagine it has been an incredibly tough time for Chris and everybody that knows and loves him but he is determined, as are we, to try and get the best recovery possible, by any means.

Chris is due to marry Kayleigh, his beautiful fiancé, this year and we need as much help as possible to pay for the best treatment that money can buy because our Millzy deserves nothing less.

Oh and he’s missing the football season at his beloved MCFC so we need to also help him get back to his Blue Army asap!!!

We will be doing various fundraising events to try and raise as much money as we can to try and make this as easy as possible for Chris. The money will help with the costs of any adapted equipment that is needed and when we find somebody willing to take a chance on Chris with the treatment, it will go towards that also.
