I've raised £2000 to raise for the following charities: Sparrow Foundation Schools, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and Cool Earth.

James Steel, Charlie Isham, Patrick Owen and special guest Archie Ward on the 15th July 2018 shall be embarking upon the journey of a lifetime. The Mongol Rally 2018. Driving from Prague to Ulan-Ude on the Mongolian-Russian border, more than 10,000 miles, supporting 3 charities, travelling through over 20 countries, for over 6 weeks.
With no backup, no support, no set route, in the shoddiest car we can find, but the best company we can think of, it is going to prove to be an adventure.
Thank you sacrifices shall be made to donations at certain levels, details of those are below. We are raising this money for three charities close to our hearts, each with a personal affiliation to a member or members of our group and/or close friends.
The Sparrow Schools Foundation provides help to Sparrow Schools in South Africa and to foster cultural links between students and children in the UK. The Foundation promotes the Educate-a-Child programme which finds sponsors who will give financial support to students at Sparrow, and raises money to fund school facilities and specialist teachers.
Great Ormond Street Hospital is dedicated to children’s healthcare and advancing medical treatments of Childhood illnesses. This commitment to those most helpless in society sees over 250,000 outpatients and 45,000 inpatient visits every year. These children are often referred from other hospitals due to the medical complexities of their diagnoses being better suited to the industry leading capabilities of Great Ormond Street. GOSH offers an outlet of hope to those who are or know children suffering from some of the most unique and challenging paediatric illnesses in the world. Operating in a challenging and high stress environment, the difference the doctors and nurses make upon the families who arrive at GOSH is unmeasurable and unrepayable.
Cool Earth is a non-profit organisation that works alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation and climate change. They put local people back in control of their forests with all Cool Earth partnerships being community-owned and led. By developing local livelihoods, their mission is to end the cycle of deforestation entrenching villages into further poverty.
