Story

one day, ivy began to experience troubling symptoms that gradually changed her life.It all began with persistent headaches that seemed to come out of nowhere. At first, she brushed them off as nothing more than stress from her campus and her extracurricular activities. But as time went on, the headaches became more intense and frequent, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting. We grew concerned and took her to see a doctor. The doctor initially diagnosed her with migraines and prescribed medication to manage the pain. However, ivy's symptoms didn't improve. In fact, they worsened. She started to have trouble with her balance, stumbling and tripping even on familiar paths. Her vision also began to blur, and she would sometimes see double.we knew that something wasn't right. We sought a second opinion from a specialist who ordered a series of tests, including an MRI scan of her brain. The results were heart-wrenching: ivy was diagnosed with ependymoma, a rare type of brain tumor that originates in the cells lining the ventricles of the brain and spinal cord. The news was a shock to us. We couldn't believe that such a vibrant and active girl could be facing such a serious illness. Ivy underwent surgery the first surgery to remove the tumor it was last year December 13th . she felt better for two too three months so but she then started feeling worse day by day when we took her to the hospital the specialist said she needs to undergo on another surgery to remove the tumor, followed by radiation therapy and chemotherapy, but we have left with little amounts of money needed. Her determination is a beacon of hope for us, please help us to support her medical expenses and to raise awareness about her brain cancer.
