Story
I recently put my dog into, what I thought to be, reputable kennels. It was in a very nice country setting and I thought it would be ideal for my dog. When I went to pick him up he was acting as if he was really scared and didn't give me the welcome that he has done in the past. I was told they were running late and at 11.45 he still hadn't been fed. When I took him out to the car he went to do the toilet and I swear I've never known him to take so long! When I was sorting out his things when I got home I discovered that he hadn't been fed three other times - he's on a diet and I'd measured out his food and put each meal in a separate bag. When I took him out to play with his ball it was like letting loose a caged animal. On their website it says to provide them with as much information as possible so that they can make their stay more pleasurable. It was pretty obvious that they hadn't read what I'd written. I'd like to be able to go and see my brother without having to worry whether my dog is happy and being well cared for. I love dogs and would do anything for them to make them happy. I believe that giving them somewhere to stay which is more like home would make them feel much happier about being parted from their owners.
