Monkwearmouth Football Academy has just recently been set up and in order for the academy to take off, and push players to their potential, we are raising money to buy essential training equipment (portable goals for both 9 and 11 a-side, balls, cones, poles, hurdles, etc.). We plan on organising a range of fund raising events over the course of the year and the litter pick is just the start!

We've decided to start with the litter pick as a local resident has raised the issue and we're taking a proactive approach to the problem!

For our litter pick, we will have local radio stations and newspapers coming to cover the event and have received a range of sponsors from generous providers who will be named and thanked on the day.
