Story
The Friends of the Monteath Mausoleum are delighted to have secured funding to enable the unique Monteath Douglas Mausoleum to be restored during 2018-2019. Beyond the restoration, we need to maintain the building and improve public access to this stunning monument with its magnificent views, for the duration of our ten year lease. In order to maintain the grounds for safe, attractive access throughout the year, the Friends are raising money for benches and picnic tables for public use, and tools and equipment for groundworks and pathway improvements.
With no source of regular income we are making a modest bid for equipment to maintain this beautiful place for public enjoyment.

With crowdfunding, you have to keep reminding people to give something however small, and to keep reminding them of the website, otherwise it simply dries up!¬Bravo: keep going.
