Story

In just a few days post Christmas, I’ll be joining an incredible event called Carlie’s Crossing, a 60-person, six-day tuk-tuk race across Sri Lanka, to honour Carlie Tufnell. I was deeply shocked to learn about Carlie’s passing and had no idea about his struggles with mental health during our time at school.

🇱🇰 One of Carlie's happiest places was Sri Lanka. This six-day journey will retrace the steps he once took through its beautiful landscapes. The race is a tribute to everyone we've lost to depression, including Carlie.

Together, we’re aiming to raise £35,000, which will support these amazing causes:

🌟 The Carlie Tufnell Foundation – Supporting mental health, learning disabilities, and the arts.

🌟 The TEA Project – Providing education and empowerment for disadvantaged Sri Lankan children in tea plantation communities.

🌟 A chosen charity of the winning tuk-tuk! We've chosen "Mind": A charity that supports individuals facing mental health challenges.

My personal goal is to raise £500, and I’d be so grateful for your help. Whether you can donate, share this post, or simply help spread the word, your support means the world. 💛

Together, we can make a real difference for mental health awareness and honour the memory of an amazing person. Let’s do this! 🛺💨
