Story
This is for those who've enjoyed this years' events who'd like to donate to help the festival to bounce back bigger and better in 2023.
Slaithwaite Moonraking Festival has been running for over 30 years - a biennial community event celebrating the local legend of Moonraking with music, stories and lanterns.
The Moonshine Festival of Light in February 2021 got more people involved than ever before during the lockdown of the coronavirus pandemic. Neighbours around the village created a spectacular alfresco art gallery of illuminated picture windows. This brought light and laughter to this West Yorkshire village. The village featured on BBC News and got lots of positive press for the area.
