Story

💙🌈Our wonderful NHS staff at the Royal Derby Hospital are in need of scrubs. I have joined a nationwide group of volunteers who are using their skills to make as many pairs of scrubs to donate to the NHS as possible. Some staff are having to buy their own as there aren’t enough to go around. I have the skills and the equipment but fabric costs. Each set of scrubs requires 3.5m of fabric. Any amount donated would be a massive help for myself and others to purchase the fabric required. I can assure anyone who donates that every penny will be spent on fabric. Thank you! 💙🌈

I’m overwhelmed and so grateful for the response to this. We are all working away on the fabric we have already purchased with 100m winging its way to us too! Thank you all x

I’m truly thankful and humbled by the amount of support we have received. All of our volunteers and myself of course are busily sewing scrubs from the fabric already purchased for our NHS, with a further 100m on its way to us. Thank you all so much. 💙

Well what can I say, having initially set the total at £500 I’ve now upped it to £1,000 for two reasons. The first total was smashed after three days and secondly the fabric that is required is hard to find and expensive. Please share this page as far and wide as you can. We’re all working away to get this done. Thank you!
