Morning all,

As you might have seen on Facebook our good friend of ours Richard Lewis lost his new born baby daughter after a few days of being born few days ago with his partner Gabby. We all know richard from the football, gigs, pubs and him being a Caerphilly boy where most of us are from. Knowing Richard for a number of years I know he can be sensitive, so I can imagine what type of way he is in at the moment trying to support Gabby.

After speaking to a few lads this morning Ive started doing a collection today for the pair of them to help with any costs of the funeral, Charity donations or Cash for them to have a break etc. Also feel free to add people to help with the cause or pass on my details.

Here is the post he made last night to announce the sad news “This is by far the toughest post I’ll ever write, and one that I didn’t think I’d be making but thought it’s best that people hear it direct from the parents.

As many of you are aware my baby girl Amber was born on Thursday afternoon via emergency caesarean and suffering from severe complications which led to her being treated in NICU by the amazing staff there. What followed was several days of 24 hour around the clock care for my girl who was extremely poorly and needing help to breath amongst other things. She fought it and really tried her best but due to a severe infection there was nothing more that could be done for her and she sadly passed away this morning at 10:21am, taking her last breath in my arms.

What has followed has been a rollercoaster of emotions and we are deeply saddened and feel like our whole world has ended. We appreciate all the kind messages, comments and posts etc and are spending the last few hours with our baby girl. I won’t be posting anything for a while as I spend time with my family grieving.
