Story

On September 13th 2018, a huge hole was left in the lives of many people when Jack Bentley’s battle with his mental health sadly ended with him taking his own life.

Following Jack’s tragic passing, Men In Need Together (MINT) was created in his memory. MINT is a support group for men who are facing their own mental health challenges, providing a place to visit, talk, listen and spend time with others who may be in a similar situation.

On Sunday 4th October 2026, I will be taking part in the Morley 10k in memory of Jack, along with my mum, Debbie, and my cousin, Freddie. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for MINT, helping the amazing people there continue their fantastic work supporting men with their mental health.

All money raised will be passed on to MINT, with every donation, no matter how big or small, going a long way towards supporting the vital work they do. Any donation that people may wish to make would be hugely appreciated by the three of us and everyone at MINT.

Thank you!
