I've raised £2000 to Help our schools and preschool with some much needed funds!

.People of Mortimer (and beyond)….
We are about to embark on our third successive Endure 24 challenge, due to take place between midday on Saturday 9th until midday on Sunday 10th June 2018. To date we have raised in excess of £3000 for our village schools and preschool.
Endure is a 24-hour relay race. As last year we have entered two teams, comprising of local runners with varying degrees of running ability. The emphasis is very much on having fun whilst raising as much money as possible. The course is 5 miles long, multi terrain and runners are encouraged to complete as many laps as possible within the time. It is often billed as the runner’s alternative to Glastonbury, although the only similarity is the camping! It’s going to be tough running through the night, so we need your donations to keep us motivated. However, anyone who would like to come and cheer us on/provide us with yummy snacks to keep us going would be most welcome!
So if you can spare a few pounds, our schools and preschool could certainly use a boost given that their level of government funding has been cut so drastically.
Many thanks,
Bev, Chris, Rhys, Neil, John, Liz, Katherine, Kate, Kirsty, Meech, Philippa and Olive.
