Story
Weʼre raising £10,000 for expert advice on plans to redevelop the 21 acre Mortlake Brewery site in Richmond, West London.
The redevelopment of the Mortlake Brewery site is a great opportunity to regenerate the area, but not at any cost. Increased traffic congestion from 800+ new homes, businesses and a large new school are top of local concerns as well as reduced air quality, loss of green space, a lack of public transport and an already risky level crossing on Sheen Lane.
The Mortlake Brewery Community Group wants to hire a planning consultant to provide independent expert advice on the impact of the developers’ plans on the community and environment. Help us to raise £10,000 by donating today!
