Weʼve raised £480 to Buy and install rugby posts for our new rugby pitch, without which over 100 boys and girls will be unable to play rugby there.

Story
Mosborough Rugby Union Football Club was formed in 1984 and has grown from strength to strength ever since. We have a strong focus on ensuring a family friendly environment for all.
We field 3 adult teams on a regular basis and have a thriving junior section which welcomes all young players from Under 5 through to Under 17 (10 teams, approx 150 players).
With such a growing junior section and impact on the local community we were outgrowing our current facilities and urgently in need of an additional rugby pitch and training areas. These were secured in 2017 with RFU support, but much work is still needed to transform these pitches into secure, playable facilities.
We want to raise the target funds for the purchase and installation of new rugby posts that will allow rugby to be enjoyed there on the new pitch from September 2018 onwards and really need your support to help achieve this.

6 years agoThanks to all of you for supporting the Crowdfunding initiative, and all the other fundraising initiatives, and helping play a part in the club's ongoing developments! Although we didn't reach our target, you certainly contributed a lot to what we are trying to achieve, so thank you for that.

Dad and Volunteer at the club, coaching one of the junior teams and Safeguarding Officer for the club. My son started playing rugby here over 7 years ago aged 6 and it is a fantastic local community environment for them to learn the sport and develop into young adults.
