Weʼre raising £5,000 to help support a mother's dream

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

With 7.6 billion people on earth, all I'm asking for is £1 from 5000 people in helping me take a step closer to my story below.

I come from a low class family in UK. I am the only child and stay with my single mother. My mother was forced into a marriage by her family and was mistreated by several members of my father's family as well as himself. He was an alcoholic, he use to abuse my mother and myself. Eventually my parents got divorced after 20 years. My mother tries her best in supporting both myself and the house. She works non-stop 7 days a week as a cleaner and also has several medical conditions she is fighting against.

My mother had a dream of becoming a doctor before she got married off at the age of 18. She's always seen me as the person who will fulfill that dream for her, but has never forced me into becoming something I didn't want to become.

I recently graduated in Nutrition and was the first person in both my mother's and father's side of the family to obtain a degree. I have always had a passion in health and fitness, hence the reason for me doing Nutrition. I have achieved my dreams but now I would like to achieve my mother;s dream for her.

I am starting a postgraduate degree in Physician Associate, which in basic terms is 6 years of medicine put into 2 years. The funding is very minimal and my current job will not be financially enough, as the fees are £9000 and I would have to relocate closer to the university.

I am reaching out to everyone who can donate any amount that will help me take a step closer in achieving my mum's dream.
