Recently one of our U9s players Jamie Jones was sadly diagnosed with leukemia.

So all sections of Mountain ash rfc have come together to show there support for Jamie and his family.

Following on the success of last years 1000 miles in 10 days raising money for the Nhs.

We have created the mountain ash to johannesburg challenge #joburg4jamie.

The British lions will not be going to johannesburg in South Africa this year but Marfc as a community will.

The challenge will begin on Friday 26th March hopefully as a club covering 8172 miles and raising as much money for Jamie and his family.

So time to stop using the bike as a clothes horse, blow the cobwebs off the trainers and dig out the walking boots!!
