Help Send Our Young Champions to the World Stage

Mountain Ash Karate Kai is a volunteer-run Kyokushinkai karate club based in the South Wales Valleys. For over 50 years, we’ve been at the heart of our community, providing high-quality, full-contact karate training to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Our club is built on the values of respect, discipline, and perseverance. Despite having no paid staff and relying solely on community support, we’ve proudly produced regional, national, and international champions – and now, three of our young athletes have earned the chance to represent Great Britain at the 2025 IFK World Championships in Germany.

These dedicated students, aged 15, 16, and 17, train tirelessly and embody everything our club stands for. But competing at this level comes with significant costs – including travel, accommodation, and competition fees – and each athlete must raise their own funds.

We’re asking for your help to get them there.
