This is something i have been putting off doing however it is only getting more difficult to continue the way I am. For those of you that don't know me my name is Hannah and I am the owner of a small riding stables in Porthtowan called Mount Pleasant Stables.

Due to the current circumstances I have understandably had to close the riding stables. As most self employed people I have now found myself in a position where I have no income. While I myself will get by like everyone else has to, I am worried for my beloved horses as those of you that know me will know these are not just my business they are like my children.

The most worrying thing is none of us know how long this situation will continue and I am at the stage now where I don't know where else to turn. I am aware that there will be help from the government at some point but the horses need help now. I have been extremely lucky and had various offers of support but I really do need your help.

The target amount isn't the whole cost that I need to raise however it will make a massive difference to the horses. Any money raised will go directly into supporting the horses this will help pay towards their feed, bedding, hay and any medication which a couple are currently on. I have been running the stables for 25 years and even when times have been hard nothing could have ever prepared me for the hit that has come with this current climate. If you have anything to give big or small it could be all the difference I need to save the stables.
