I'm raising £1000 to Help Moving Minds Keep People Moving, Connecting and Feeling Like Themselves Again

Story

Living with dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke recovery or cancer can change everything — not just physically, but emotionally and socially too.

Confidence shrinks. Isolation grows. Life can start to feel smaller.

At Moving Minds, we use dance and creativity to gently rebuild connection — to the body, to others, and to joy.

In our sessions, people rediscover movement beyond limitation.

A person living with dementia reconnects with rhythm and shared laughter.

Someone living with Parkinson’s finds freedom in flow.

A stroke survivor expresses themselves without needing words.

Someone going through cancer treatment experiences lightness again.

And family members — often carrying the quiet weight of care — get to move, breathe and connect too.

Dance can improve balance, mood, confidence and wellbeing — but more than that, it restores identity, connection and moments of joy. Your support helps us bring these life-changing creative sessions to more people and families who need them. Because everyone deserves to feel like themselves again.

Please donate and help us keep moving minds.
