Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Over this festive period we are looking to provide at least 4,000 meals to be distributed directly to the homeless and those in need.
As this is our first charitable venture we will be working with other charities that already offer this type of support. With their help we are confident that our ambitous target can be achieved.
We will not simply be paying money to other charities, but will be directly involved in the provision of the meals/food ourselves. This leaves the charities free to look at dealing with other matters that may otherwise get overlooked or put to one side due to time/financial constraints.
Once we have the formula correct for this first project we plan to offer more meals during more parts of the year, with continued growth in the charity over the coming years.
Though we have set a target of 4,000 meals this festive period, we are aiming to achieve many more with ongoing support from everyone.

Brilliant idea. Hope it is a massive success. You are doing something we should all do but are to lazy to bother.
