Story
After giving thousands of pounds to a landscaping company to redo a garden for our two young children. They did a small fraction of the work to a poor standard, completed work that was not required and will cost thousands of pounds to simply put right.
For example laid flags in wrong direction, did not lay to side of house, did not use enough materials underneath.
Did not use enough soil under replaced turf or laid correctly, installed drainage not required and installed aco drains but not connected to anything, just to name a few.......
Even charged for 7 skips when only had 3!
The company has so far only given back a small sum, even though they have stated to Trading Standards that they will give back all the money.
We have been chasing to get this resolved for 15months and would just like to have a garden for the kids to play in as so far the only option left is with the courts.
A builder has kindly agreed to replace the patio at cost which has used the small amount we have got back so far.
Ideally what we need moving forward is the turf that was new replacing as this was done incorrectly, levelling and fresh soil replaced as none of this was done as agreed.
A company has offered to supply astro turf but unable to take advantage of offer due to the amount of ground work that is required.
A fence needs erected to separate the garden to the patio and the trampoline we have sunk in the garden.
We also gave money for a shed for the boys to use in the winter and this was not done either :(
I have hundreds of pictures and letters from builders stating what was done incorrectly and how bad it is which i can share.
Ultimately I would just like to give the garden my children deserve and put a smile back on my partners face
