Story
Because of God's great blessings, James & I do not need any wedding gifts. James' family and friends from his village have given from what they have to provide everything for our wedding day (What a score for Mr Fraser!!). So instead, I have suggested that if anyone would like to, they can contribute a little towards a new home for a family in James' village. His village is situated in Marangu, in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. It is made up of small plots (shambas) where each family lives & grows coffee, bananas etc to sell. Some homes are lovely brightly painted cement houses & may even have water, others are made from branches and mud. Obviously it is the latter we would like to replace! The cost to build a basic 3 room house with outside latrine is £3000. Thank you for your continued prayers & support. We hope we'll both be back in Scotland soon. Xx

5 years agoWe have just returned from Tanzania. And we need to say THANK YOU so much for helping build not one but 2 new homes, a cattle byre, a village kitchen, & store. Everyone is delighted with their beautiful brightly painted new homes & outbuildings. The kids especially pleased with their bunk beds (double deckers as they call them). What a blessing! And it brought so much joy compared to that of a new toaster or gravy boat!! Thank you all for your amazing kindness, hope you’ll visit our village in Tanzania one day...Karibu Love James & Mairi xx
