Story

I am running in the Slate Trail Ultra on 22nd February 2019. This is an 89-mile run around Snowdonia in North Wales. It will be cold, dark and wet but it is all for a great reason!

I would love to raise enough money to purchase a defibrillator machine for Mornington Primary School.

Some alarming facts are:

- 270 children die in the UK every year, suffering a Sudden Cardiac Arrest at school.

- Without immediate treatment, 90-95% of Sudden Cardiac Arrest victims will die.

- If a defibrillator machine is used and effective CPR is performed within 3-5minutes of cardiac arrest, the chance of survival increases from 6% to 74%.

This defibrillator will be available to use on the children, adults who work at the school, visitors to the school and the local community who use the school.

I think you will agree it is a great cause! The money raised on here, will be put with other money I have raised at school through various events.

Please support me as much as you can - thank you!
