The Geography Department at Broughton Hall Catholic High School is planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Iceland in April 2019. Our students will visit the land of fire and ice and will have an amazing opportunity to put their feet on two tectonic plates, walk on a glacier, see some of the most amazing waterfalls the world has to offer and much, much more.

To raise money, Mr Halewood and Mr McGarry will be making an expedition to the Lake District to climb some of the biggest peaks and the most challenging (and sometimes scary!) ridges! Check 'Sharp Edge' and 'Striding Edge' on Youtube to see what it will be like!
